2010s R&B Collection - DJ Edit Pack - Over 330 Tracks

DJ Edit Pack

2010s R&B

R&B got darker in the 2010s.

The production became moodier, the drums got heavier, and the line between R&B, hip-hop and trap soul nearly disappeared. This pack is built around the sound and atmosphere of the era—not just the handful of records that can fill a dance floor.

The Sound of the 2010s

Compared with the polished grooves and brighter hooks that defined much of the 1990s and 2000s, R&B took a darker and grimier turn in the 2010s. Sparse drums, hazy synths, heavy low end, atmospheric vocals and more confessional writing became part of the decade’s identity.

Artists moved freely between singing and rapping, while producers blurred the boundaries between R&B, hip-hop and trap soul. Some of these songs can move a room, but this is not a nonstop dance-floor pack. The value is the vibe: the records people lived with, sang along to and immediately associate with the era.

What’s in the Pack

Defining 2010s R&B records
Dark R&B and trap-soul staples
R&B and hip-hop crossover joints
Selected deeper records that fit the era

The collection moves from major radio records into melodic street R&B, slow burners, alternative R&B and songs that can naturally sit in either an R&B or hip-hop set. The goal is to represent the decade honestly instead of forcing every selection to behave like a party record.

DJ-Ready Versions

You’ll find a practical mix of intro and outro edits, extended versions, short edits, quick hitters, redrums, remixes, transitions and alternate versions. Clean and dirty versions are included where I deemed appropriate.

Some songs include multiple versions while others include only the strongest usable edit. File names identify the version, so always check the label before using a track in a clean-only setting.

Built for Real Programming

This is the kind of crate that helps set a mood, warm up an urban room, move naturally between R&B and hip-hop, or stay in the pocket without forcing the dance floor. It works for lounges, grown-and-sexy sets, open-format rooms and dedicated 2010s R&B sets.

This is not a generic party pack. It is the sound of 2010s R&B as the decade actually felt.
